When did you begin blogging?

I started blogging around January 2013. I started it because I wanted to help a few of my friends with organizing and I ended up making it a ‘public’ thing a few weeks later, when I realized that I could help more than just my group of friends. I actually had a “blog” about 10 years ago, with money-saving tips, but that was before I even knew what blogging was! I let that page go, but here I am, years later, sharing my tips all over again!

What are your 3 favorite blog posts?

How to be a Stay at Home Mom on One Income, Potty train in three days and my series on Organizing your Home in 40 days – I was so inspired by the amount of traffic that they get on a daily basis, that I turned two of them into e-books that are sold on my page and on Amazon. (see pictures)

 

What are you up to when you’re not blogging?

Being a Mom to four little ones and I also work as a play therapist for kids three years old and under that have a developmental delay.

What are your tips for balancing family life and blogging?

Schedule as much as you can (schedule tweets, schedule FB posts, schedule your regular posts) and just work for a few hours a day during nap time and at night. I try to blog from about 7:30 (when the kids go to bed) until around 9:30 or so, when my husband and I watch our shows. Sometimes I will jump back on before bed to check e-mails.

I use it to follow my favorite bloggers and to bring in income from blogging.

Do you have any tips for your success on Sverve? Post your favorite posts, follow as many bloggers as you can because you can always learn more. Apply to any campaign that you think might be great for your readers. The worst that they can say is “no”
