Your Sverve score is important. It lets other influencers and brands know how successful you are on your blog and on www.Sverve.com. It declares your credibility and influence. Other influencers on our site may not give you or your uploaded tips a second thought if your score is low. Brands may not engage you for their campaigns if your score is a low one. So you can see how important it is that your score be as high as possible!

How do you raise your score? Here are some great tips to help with that!

1. Build your blog influence.

In a nutshell this means to grow your blog: readership, followers, pageviews, links, etc. Sverve takes into account your Alexa rating, backlinks and Google page rank. That means that you must know something about SEO and be actively trying to get your blog posts and pages in the top few pages of search results on Google! I know that SEO can be elusive and overwhelming, so I suggest taking a few tips and working on them during the week and add more as you go. This will build your influence on the internet!

2. Build your social influence.

“Sverve takes into account an influencer’s following on key social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. All scores are relative and weighted by the significance of each platform.” – Sverve. Just like building your blog influence, you will need to build your social influence. Work at gaining more followers and likes. Post frequently. Respond to your comments and messages in a timely manner. Share other bloggers relevant information and posts. Doing these things will definitely help your grow your social profile!

3. Build your Sverve influence.

Sverve influence is calculated by the number of endorsements an influencer has received in her top three areas of influence as compared to her peers. This means that you will need to be interactive on www.Sverve.com! By simply registering you will not succeed on this platform; you must be social!

Uploading tips every day will help with your influence as Sverve users will consistently see you and your tips. It will help add credibility and longevity. By this kind of interaction other influencers will endorse you for those areas of influence that you seem knowledgeable and creditable in.

Endorsing other influencers will help gain you more public awareness. Each time an influencer is endorsed a message is sent to that person telling them who endorsed them. Oftentimes they will endorse in return! The  more endorsements for you means the higher your score!

Following other influencers will in turn raise your following. They may feel grateful and follow you back. That’s good for you because each time you upload a tip, they will see it and possibly share it, like it or visit! That’s a lot of interaction that doesn’t go unnoticed by Sverve.

You can check out our Sverve scoring page for more information.

4. Be consistent.

As with anything, consistency is the key to success! If you’re consistent in each area mentioned above your blog will grow as well as your influence on social media and Sverve. It cannot possibly stay stagnant if you’re working hard on making it! Remember to add a tip to Sverve each day, work on your own blog and social media platforms daily and you will see a rise in your Sverve score. Consistency is the key!

Would you recommend switching the blog I have listed to this one to have a better score since it has more traffic? Or should I just keep it as Casually Cassi since that’s where I do reviews?

Great article! But what I wonder is why my score is going down? I have more followers and more endorsements than I did when it was three points higher. So do you know what the deal is?

    Thanks!

Hi Shauna, per sverve scoring info: “Sverve influence is calculated by the number of endorsements an influencer has received in her top three areas of influence as compared to her peers.” “as compared to her peers” is the catch; you are compared to your peers or other influencers with your sverve score number. So as more influencers move up, the bar could be raised higher. So in essence your score is always moving. I hope that clears it up!

It’s strange… my score has gone down since I have been posting more on Sverve. I have gained in most aspects of my site, yet, my score is lower. Another strange thing is that my Alexa rankings are no longer showing my US rank. Regardless, this is a fantastic post! I just have to figure out if my site is causing these issues.
