How did you being blogging?

I began blogging 4 years ago this month. I was pregnant with my second and feeling terrible, so I started a blog!
I had been stalking Homemade by Jill {the first craft blog I discovered} and wanted to do something similar.

What are you preferred blogging topics?

My blog has evolved to mostly sewing and food posts. I also do a few crafts, but not as many as I used to.
What are your three favorite blog posts or 3 blog posts are you most proud of and why?
I love this post I did for Kraft, the recipe came out perfectly and the photos are great.

What are you up to when not blogging?

I live in Hong Kong, and am married to an International school principal. He was works long hours, so I hold down the fort at home with our two boys. I also co-lead a moms group {sort of like MOPS} and do some tutoring in my home after school. My boys keep me busy and active and we don’t spend much time in the house.

What are your tips for balancing family life and blogging?

I work mostly when my oldest is at school and my youngest is napping {thus the name!} I try to limit my computer time in the morning when we are all at home, but there are times I have to take care of a few things.

How do you use Sverve?

I use Sverve to connect with other bloggers and to find opportunities for money making.

Do you have any tips for your success on Sverve?

Endorse others, I’ve put my posts for blogging help in my tips and worked hard to increase my blog pageviews and social media stats.

Can you share any blogging tips that have really helped you?

BIG and beautiful photos! Network with other bloggers, help each other out and work together. Promote, promote, promote…Use many social media channels… I don’t love the time it takes to keep up with them all, but I’ve noticed a huge jump in numbers and views since I joined twitter and instagram.

What do you love most about blogging?

The connections with women around the world and being part of something outside my home and kids. I also love the outlet to express my creativity and blogging keeps me creating {I can’t stop!}
