How, when & why did you being blogging?
I started blogging in April of 2012 after I relocated from Seattle to the Midwest. I didn’t know anyone and was having a hard time being in a small town away from friends and family. I thought I’d start blogging about my crafting, which I was doing anyway, and meet some online friends. I started out slow and I remember that I was so terrified of hitting “Publish” that I’d leave my posts in Draft mode. This really is hilarious since I only had 20 followers! Eventually I discovered Link Parties and started linking up and commenting on other projects, too. I am so thankful to the blogs that host Link Parties!! This is such a great way to meet other bloggers and share creativity.
What are you preferred blogging topics?
I like to blog about Paper Crafting, my DIY projects and Blogging Tips and Tricks. I do blog the occasional recipe and I love to have my blog friends Guest Post because they all cook! Oh, and I love a good Link Party!
What are your three favorite blog posts or 3 blog posts are you most proud of?
Three of my favorite blog posts are – How to Make Chalk Like Paint, How to Install a Blog Header and How to Get 500 Pinterest Followers in 30 Days. These have also been really popular on Pinterest.

What are you up to when not blogging?
When I’m not blogging I’m thinking about blogging or pinning to Pinterest! I also stay busy working on crafts or holiday creations or DIY projects that I plan to blog about. I love to spend time with friends and family (and my furry babies). I enjoy shopping, walking my dogs, and reading a good book.
Why and how do you use Sverve?
I use Sverve as place to meet and connect with other Bloggers. I love to check out the posts that are shared there. It’s also great if you are interested in working with brands. It’s very low key and up to you how much you participate and I like that.
What do you love about the blogging world?
What I love most about the blogging world is the (on-line) friendships I have made. I have met so many wonderful people! I hope meet some of them in person some day, but I truly feel connected to many of them even though we’ve never met in person. I’ve also cultivated a great support group of ladies that I work with to share ideas, tips, giveaways/contests and Guest Posts. LOVE them!
